Classroom Visits

 Classroom Visit Walk Troughs

The purpose of the walkthroughs is to provide support for instruction and learning.

These walkthroughs may only be about 10-15 minutes each, which also means we should have a chance to visit classes more often. We will also take time with the visit to see evidence of instruction on NEO. 

We are sharing this with you so you understand what we are doing when you see us randomly drop in and out of classes unannounced. 

For High School, Patrick will probably contact you and ask you for a link to classes because they are not organized on Teams Groups. 

For Middle School. Lori will probably drop in using the links on Teams Groups.

We will be looking for evidence of things such as:

• Neo. (Welcome, resources, assignments etc) 
• Gradebook. (Up to date?) 
Lesson Structure and instructional strategies (Transitions, bell ringers, exit tickets, group work, Class management, etc) 
• Digital tools. ( ed perfect, digital white board, online links, videos, etc)

There also may be other teacher leaders such as HOD's visiting classes. The purpose of this is to allow teachers to know they do not have to go it alone.

With this Class visit structure, we should be able to visit each class at least twice each semester. This system will replace the extended, 45 minute full class visit.
